First Business Consulting - Good Credit, Bad Credit - No Credit? You Can Still Own a Home

My name is Johnny D. Bowman, Sr. and I have been involved in real estate since 1996, though I didn't start there. I was born and raised in Edgefield, South Carolina. After high school I attended Greenwood Technical College for business administration. After my marriage to my wife Catherine we started raising a mentally challenged child while I worked twelve-hour shifts at a carpet plant as a supervisor. Realizing I needed more control over my life, I opened my own office and started borrowing short-term funds from individuals to purchase and rehab houses.

After my own trial and error, I met Ron Legrand who taught me the art of flipping, leasing and rehabbing houses. Ron and Larry Goins gave me a sense of success in how to go about real estate.

With all the experience I've gained working with these gentlemen I've been able to sell over 30 houses from home working just part-time. Since January of 2002 I've sold half a million dollars worth of real estate, rehabbed three houses with lease options and purchased houses that were in foreclosure.

I am now able to work with people who have challenged credit histories and get them into their own homes.

Having bad credit doesn't make you a bad person, regardless of how banks and credit card companies might make you feel. I understand that life happens and that it's not always kind to our credit scores.
